An inner world.
A voice in colour.
Oana Greab Fărcaș was born in 1990 in Târgu-Mureș, Romania. After graduating from the High School of Arts, she studied at the Faculty of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, earning her bachelor’s and master’s degrees with the distinction Magna cum laude.
Oana Greab Fărcaș explores the emotional microcosm through oil painting. Organic forms, nuclei and networks of colour create a language of closeness, vulnerability and transformation.
I paint the inner microcosm: the ways emotions gather, touch and take shape. I begin with my experience as a woman, with love, longing, vulnerability and the need for freedom.

Inner Microcosm
From afar, a presence. Up close, a world.
Circles, nuclei, spirals and organic networks invite us to read painting as an emotional microcosm. Marks of colour gather into forms; the spaces between them hold the tension of closeness and the freedom of distance.
The relief of oil paint catches light along its edges. A stroke, a break, a change of rhythm becomes visible as you move closer. The whole comes together as you step back. Between these two distances, each viewer can discover their own resonances.

Shore of a Living World
How close can I be to someone without losing my own outline? Here that question takes form: small enclosures of colour touch, share their edges and each retain an interior. Orange warmth gathers within turquoise paths beside a deep blue-green expanse.

Inner Constellation
I can love and fear in the same instant. I can feel strong while holding something very fragile within me. In this form assembled from distinct marks, I find room for simultaneous feelings. Each can remain present within the whole.

The River That Dreams
Sometimes I need a simple continuity I can follow without knowing where it leads. Blue offers such a path here. It bends between yellow edges and gatherings of pigment, holding broad movement and small pauses together.

Inner Horizons
I carry places whose details have faded but whose atmosphere remains precise. Blue and ochre gathered above a dark edge give me that sense of recognition here. Forms approach houses or silhouettes and remain open enough for memory to work between them.

Suspended Architectures
This question returns before a structure that seems to stand above its own uncertainty. Black lines support rooms of colour, while the blue beneath remains mobile. I let openings matter as much as edges: through them, the construction stays connected to what it cannot control.

Presence
I can be present without explaining myself completely. That possibility matters to me. The woman’s outline emerges and recedes into colour, keeping a space of her own. Between figure and ground I seek a visibility that respects what remains intimate.

Signs at the Table
A table can hold the rhythm of lives around it. I think of pauses, nearby hands and the objects between which a conversation finds room. The cup and vessel offer familiar reference points here, while black marks cross them and disturb their stillness.
