Close, with an interior of my own.
How close can I be to someone without losing my own outline? Here that question takes form: small enclosures of colour touch, share their edges and each retain an interior. Orange warmth gathers within turquoise paths beside a deep blue-green expanse.
I seek a closeness that leaves room. From afar, the network can become a shore; up close, each form asks for attention of its own. The shift in scale moves me: how small I can be before a world, and how complete the world I carry within me can feel.
Colour and material
A turquoise and orange network occupies the lower edge of a blue-green field. In the details, cellular forms separate into meanders, lines and pigment reliefs.
