Changing without losing myself.
I do not move through change in a straight line. I turn back, hesitate and find a way out where I thought the path ended. Pink and green curves give me the freedom of these departures. Their thickness retains the resolve of a gesture even as its direction changes.
Behind them, colour descends in vertical traces. Across that rhythm, the forms seek their own paths. I am interested in remaining whole while changing the way I move. My identity includes its detours; sometimes they lead me towards a place where I can live more freely.
Colour and material
Pink and green curves oppose the vertical flows of the ground. The detail shows how the thickness of the brushstroke emphasises this change in direction.
