What can grow in an open place.
I am interested in a garden before I know all its forms. In the dense area, red tightens the space; in the white field, marks spread out and leave possibilities between them. Radial forms seem suspended between the botanical and the imagined, as though this world were still finding its way to grow.
I let the open passages sustain anticipation. A mark has yet to reveal what it will become; two approaching forms may open another path. Here I recognise my curiosity before a desired change. The garden remains available for something intimate to take an unexpected shape.
Colour and material
The red area and white field propose opposing densities. Radial forms connect them and prevent the composition from dividing into independent registers.
