Giving a beginning room to open.
Some beginnings feel like a tightening. Thought, desire and the courage to emerge are still held close together. The blue spiral gives me an image of gathered energy before it finds its reach.
Above it, white makes room. Small bursts of colour carry the passage from concentration to openness while retaining the weight of the origin. I am interested in that moment of becoming when I can move forward carrying what once held me tightly. For me, the genesis of blue is the patience to give a beginning the space it needs.
Colour and material
A blue spiral concentrates the lower area while white opens the upper register. Radial forms interrupt the ascent and redistribute emphasis towards the edges.
